Hey dolls! Today I bring you another adorable piece from Ally Boutique. This floral skirt is just darling. The floral print is perfect for spring and I love the layered detailing at the hem. I paired it with an army green button down to bring out the green in the skirt. I picked up this adorable bow belt for my my bump decides to make its debut, but it was the perfect addition to this outfit. Life {and Baby Gibby} Update

First and foremost, I want to send my thoughts and prayers to Oklahoma. My heart aches for the families of the victims and the first responders. After going to Joplin days after the massive tornado swept thru two years ago, I cant even imagine it being worse than that. May God lay his hands over everyone in Moore OK.

This weekend while my hubby went camping, I spent some time getting things ready for our Gender reveal party. I cant even explain how excited I am to find out what we are having! I have so many ideas for both boy and girl that its eating me alive with anticipation! eeeeeeeep!

Saturday night Sadie and I went over to my sisters to hang outside and enjoy the gorgeous weather. I love spending time with the kiddos.

Sunday was Claire and Bree's dance recital! This was Brees first dance recital and boy was she ADORABLE. Claire blows me away every-time she dances. She is growing up to such a gorgeous and talented young lady. I cant wait to watch her grow into the amazing dancer she is destined to be. 

The theme of the recital was party, so I threw on my favorite neon skirt from Savoir Faire and this gorgeous pretty from Maude. 

We are at 13 weeks!! I do not have a bump to show off yet, but Baby Gibby is growing strong. 

Here is my weekly update.

Boy/Girl- We hope to find out in 3 weeks! Our doctor is taking a peek for us at our next appt and we also have an appt scheduled with a specialist. Gender Reveal is scheduled for June 14th, pending baby gibbys stubbornness.  WE.CANT.WAIT

Cravings- Still lots of fruit, orange juice, and cold veggies. Another aversion is Mexican Food. My baby is making me eat things I used to hate and not eat things I used to love. Its so funny. 

Weight Gain/Loss- I still tracking around my normal weight and still wearing my normal clothes. I have picked up quite a few things for when the bump decides to pop : )

Symptoms- This past Friday my Sciatic nerve decided to flare up. I had issues walking without it hurting. I have rested quite a bit and it is getting better. I hope it continues to get better. The nausea has still been about the same, but I seem to be getting more energy back. 

Fit Mom- I had to take a break this past week from my workouts due to the nerve pain. The Dr told me to get back into it once I start feeling better because exercise does help.

Mommy Moment- Drew and I have been thinking of names and we go around the house yelling them to see how they sound. It cracks me up because that is what will fill our house sooner than later : )

Dreaming About- I am looking forward to finding out what we are having! I find myself looking at baby clothes, room decor and writing names in cursive daily. I don't think i have ever been this excited.about something!

Spring Stripes

Hello there! Sorry I have been nonexistent this week. I have taken on new responsibilities at my "big girl" job and have insanely busy. Thank goodness my hubby is able to bring me(and baby gibby) lunch on days like those!

Life {and Lil Gibby} Update

Hey dolls! Hope everyone had a great weekend.

 

Friday we headed to dinner with the family and ended the night with popcorn and a movie : )

Saturday we got up early and headed to farmers market. It was a beautiful day to spend outside on the fayetteville square. We picked up some great veggies and gorgeous blooms.

Sunday I hosted mothers day. We had so much delicious food and it was great to get the family together for such an important day.

 

Sadie Jane enjoyed her last mothers day as an "only child"

 

Today we got to see baby gibby and hear the heartbeat. That was the most beautiful sound I have ever heard. I am thanking the lord that the baby is growing strong and healthy and continue to pray daily. We are at 12 weeks and it feels like time is moving so fast.

 

I do not have a bump to show of yet, but here is an update!

 

Boy/Girl- I honestly go back and fourth. Most of the family thinks boy and Drew thinks Girl. The heart rate was around 160 at our appt. We hope to find out pink or blue at our next ultrasound. Fingers Crossed. Of course a Gender Reveal party is about to be in planning mode too.

 

Names- We have a front runner for both boy and girl. The girl we are pretty set on, but the boy we are still thinking of new options.

 

Cravings- I have been craving a lot of fruit and cold veggies. I have also been craving breakfast foods which is hilarious because I was NEVER a fan of breakfast pre pregnancy. Last Sunday Drew brought me a breakfast feast and I was in heaven. Fried food and Grilled Chicken have been a couple of the aversions.

 

Symptoms- Very nauseous at night. I am having issues eating at dinner time and have had to geat very creative with meals. Lots of bland foods. I am still pretty tired starting late afternoon, but it has gotten better.

 

Weight Loss/Clothes- I lost 2lbs since my last appt, so I am adding more protein to my diet to get back to my original weight. I am still wearing my normal clothes, but I can definitely tell my body is starting to change.

 

Fit Mom- I was really nervous of something happening in the beginning so I really slowed down my workouts. Before New York I started the Jillian Ab Video and continued it when I got back. Little did know I was 2-3 weeks preggo haha. I stopped doing that video, but I have started back up my 3-4 day workouts. I am mostly walking/jogging and doing light weights. The Doctor has given me the green light to keep up what I was doing, but to just listen to my body.

 

Mommy Moment- Hearing my nieces and the Williamson Girls talk about baby gibby on mothers day. These little girls are SOO excited for me to be a mommy. The Williamson girls told me they didn't believe that I was pregnant because I didn't have a belly : ) Oh girls, it will be here before you know it.

 

There may not be a bump yet, but little gibby is in there and growing strong :)
